In July 2009, we again being awarded by IMPSA (M) Sdn Bhd to provide our experience and competent rigging team and cranes to lift and erect 1 unit Quay Crane Upper Part (55 meter long x 19 meter width x 20 meter height – 450mt) to connect to top of lower part leg at 36 meter height at Lumut for Bintulu Port. Besides erection of the upper part, the boom girder weighing 75mt was also erected by us using one (1) unit 500 tonnes Truck Crane and one (1) unit 350 tonnes Crawler Crane.
We have to work closely with IMPSA technical department to determine the Center Gravity of the crane and also load distributed on each lifting lug to select the suitable capacity cranes to lift the upper part.
Our engineering department had produced the rigging drawings in Autocad and select two (2) units 300 tonnes Ringer Crane (Manitowoc 4100S1 Ringer S3), one (1) unit 500 tonnes Truck Crane (Demag AC1600) and one (1) unit 350 tonnes Crawler Crane (Manitowoc 4600S4) to lift the Upper Part. 4 points lifting lug to be welded onto of top transversal girder with load of 70mt each to be lifted by 350 tonnes Crawler Crane and 500 tonnes Truck Crane and 155mt each to be lifted by 2 units 300 tonnes Ringer Crane.
