In the construction of the Putrajaya Mosque, Tuck Sin Engineering and Construction Sdn Bhd (steel fabricator specialist) had worked together with Trans Elite for the steel erection works.
In order to speed up the erection time and to avoid the installation of a temporary tower, Trans Elite’s Engineering Department had come up with the rigging studies and recommended using the Demag AC1600 (500 tonnes) Truck Crane complete with luffing jib with superlift counterweight to lift and erect the steel girder at the working radius of approximately 63 meters.
