In the middle of year 2005, we again were being awarded with the job to execute the heavy lifting works at Petronas Refinery Kedah. We had mobilized our operation team together with our 300 Tons Ringer Crane (Manitowoc 4100 S1 Ringer S3), 300 Tons Truck Crane (Liebherr LT1300), 160 Tons Truck (Kato NK1600) and Prime Mover c/w twelve (12) axles hydraulic trailers to execute the heavy lifting work during the PFK – 3rd turnaround at Petronas Fertilizer, Kedah.

Our scope of works are to provide one (1) unit 300 Tons Ringer Crane as main crane to lift 1 unit reactor (E1801) weighting – 125mt out from existing location and assisted by one unit (1) 300 Tons Truck Crane as a tailing crane to lift the reactor from vertical position into horizontal position before placing onto the multi axle trailers. Supply of the spreader bar, lifting appliances and supervision of the lifting is also part of our job.

The reactor shall then be transported to the storage yard and offloaded by our 160 Tons and 300 Tons Truck Crane. New reactor was later erected on the same location using the same units of cranes. For other turnaround lifting activities, we had utilized our 160 Tons Truck Crane.
